Well, as a Virus and Computer expert knowing this is a MUST and I have got to say. the one i absolutely LOVE is Malware Bytes! malwarebytes.org / You can use the free version for how ever long you want, theres a purchased version but if you run a scan once a day. it really doesn't do any good to waste your money. Just yesterday, i had a horrible trojan on my laptop and i was foolish enough to go days without running a scan. well i had to hack my own laptop, go into safe mode, restore it, and then run a scan. Yep, just my luck

I have used Zone Alarm Firewall, I have also got superantispyware and Malwarebytes. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I have just changed to Avast antivirus and all seems good so far. Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from download.com / I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site.
