Antiviruses with Spyware and Adware Blockers?

other than AVG and ESET Nod32, what are some other really good antivirus programs that include Spyware Blocker and Adware Blocker. Maybe one that updates like AVG. I guess what I am saying is, where can i find the free version of Avast that has antivirus, and does it also have spyware / adware blockers or just the Antivirus. I use to have it, but i need to do something to my computer so now i have lost it. If it doesn't have spyware / adware blocker then do not bother telling me where to find it, just name some others that do. By the way, i use Vista

I use Norton Internet Security. It is $50, and you can use it on three computers. It has antivirus, antispyware, and it also blocks adware. But it also has a firewall. You can get Norton Antivirus which has all those features minus the firewall for about $35 for three computers. I recommend both. Free stuff really doesn't cut it, or at least it doesn't compare with Norton. Norton is also very fast

nortan is not all that great anymore with people getting out there and learnign how to get around it. The best thign you can do is type in "SUPERAntispyware" the logo is a person in sungl es and the circle with a cross over it. It's free and is great at picking up what most other scans can not expecially with adware. The other one to search for is called spybot search and destroy - also free and picks up even more then what the super spyware gets. These can normally pick up trojans and such gone into to change your registry! Be sure to also run an imunization with the spybot once you get it!

If you enable pop - up blockers will not it open you up to viruses and spyware?
